A few more close-ups of my Lune dress by @french_poetry. This is my third version of this dress, all three in different fabrics, and my conclusion is that the lighter the better. This version is in a gorgeous silk from @beglarianfabrics and it is definitely perfect! (I actually have a few meters left if anybody is interested). The pattern is a wonderful one, extremely easy to sew with no fit adjustment required at all (except and FBA for me but this is now included in the pattern).

Ma robe Lune d”un peu plus près. C”est ma troisième version de ce patron, toutes dans des tissus différents, et ma conclusion est que plus le tissu est léger mieux c”est! Ici j”ai utilisé un crêpe de soie et c´est parfait! Le patron lui-même est merveilleux, très facile et rapide à coudre et tombant à merveille.

My obsession with puff sleeves has alleviated a bit since last year, but only to an extent... If you scroll a bit back in time on my grid, you'll see the blue twin sister of this dress. I liked it so much that I had to have a red version. The dress is a combination of 3 patterns: #b6446 for the bodice, #m8211 for the sleeves and my beloved #m7081 for the skirt (a self drafted circle skirt would do here). Of course I had to add red piping at the sleeves and the neckline! I absolutely adore this combination, what do you think?

Ma compulsion à coudre des robes à manches ballons s'est un peu calmée depuis l'an dernier mais je ne suis pas entièrement guérie.... Si vous regardez un peu en arrière sur mon feed, vous verrez la sœur jumelle de cette robe, en bleu. Il s’agit de la combinaison de 3 patrons : #butterick6446 pour le corsage, #mccalls8211 pour les manches et #mccalls7081 pour la jupe. Avec du passepoil à l’encolure et aux manches parce que j’adore le passepoil! J’aime beaucoup cette robe, qu’en pensez-vous?
