This pattern has been a success for years. With very straightforward instructions and a minimal number of pattern pieces, you get a stunning result. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>It is also quite easy to hack.<\/strong> For all version, I made a FBA (<a href=\"https:\/\/sixmignons.com\/en\/2020\/06\/20\/a-new-favourite-pattern-the-v9253-dress\/\">explained in the article<\/a>)  and shortened the skirt to long midi length (in between the two lengths offered). <strong>Well, I chose the wrong fabric!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I bought this <strong>beautiful (and very expensive) silk <\/strong>from<a href=\"https:\/\/www.selvedgeandbolts.com\/\"> Selvedge and Bolts <\/a>and <strong>I was surprised by it stiffness when it arrived<\/strong>. Even after washing, it could pretty much stand on its own! Not even mentioning the sleeves, which live a life of their own.
